Snow cutter blower Supra 4002: More performance and convenience in a new design.
The Supra 4002 is one of our snow cutter blowers of the latest generation. Like its predecessors, it is designed to take on the full range of snow removal tasks on runways, taxiways and ramps, and has now been enhanced with important features and a new design. In addition to ergonomic improvements, the machine stands out with its articulated frame steering and intelligent power drive transmission that ensures a consistent clearing capacity even when cornering.
New intelligence in technology, new efficiency in its results
The reversible clearing head drive unit is integrated directly into the clearing head itself, making the drive shaft superfluous: As a result, it is considerably more wear-resistant than its predecessors. The powerful snow clearing unit in dual-block design equipped with cutter drum and downstream blower wheel enables very long ejection distances. The fuel tank capacity of 530 litres provides up to 8 hours of uninterrupted operation. Additionally, its design also makes it possible to quickly switch between wheels and crawler tracks. The engine delivers an environmentally friendly performance according to European emission standard Euromot IIIB – operating with great fuel efficiency and at a low noise level (eco-transport gear).
Full power even when cornering!
The chassis is equipped with a flexible articulated frame steering permitting a steering angle of up to 35°. Maximum feeding power is thereby transmitted in any manoeuvre in the clearing head’s direction of travel – coupled with a precise vehicle guidance following the clearing path of the clearing head, it is even possible to take tight corners in hard snow! During operations, infinite speed adjustment is performed via a variable pump and variable engine. This ensures a steady rotational speed of the drive engine, eliminating any potential drops in performance.
Precise and speedy snow removal
The Supra 4002 accurately ejects the removed snow up to 40 metres to the left or right. Thanks to its individually adjustable chute and hydraulically operated blower housing, the ejection distance can be infinitely adjusted from minimum to maximum even under full load. Our machines are capable of clearing up to 3500 t/h at an operating speed of up to 40 km/h. As a result of this, if snow contaminated with de-icing material needs to be transported, it is also possible to easily load lorries in quick succession – a height-adjustable operator’s cabin always provides a clear view.
A cutting-edge work environment that is a pleasure to use
We have also greatly improved the machine’s operational convenience. This includes a logical and ergonomic design of functional components featuring a TFT colour display, a central control panel for single-handed operation of the clearing head, excellent all-round visibility, a windscreen with negative angle of inclination to prevent accumulation of snow, and a 2-seat driver’s cab that absorbs vibration and noise down to a mere 70 dB – measured during snow removal operations with the clearing head. Additionally, there are details such as electrically heated windscreen and side windows, heated wing mirrors, right-hand drive, spring-cushioned seats that are adjustable to several positions and many more.
