Specialist in long stretches

The Stratos 10m³, 12m³ and 14m³ were specially developed to be fitted onto 4 axel vehicles with a load capacity of 32 to 42 tons. Logical areas of use are 4 lane motorways and long stretches that require treatment. The size of the containers means more grit can be taken at one time so longer stretches can be treated. In doing this, you have more time for preventative spray operations and lose less time through stopping to refill the container. All three variants are available with the reliable conveyor belt system and can be supplied with or without a pre-wetted salt system. Gritting and thawing material can be spread at a spreading width of 3m to 14m.

Work safely and economically

Exact doses and precise spreading patterns mean that Stratos works economically and protects the environment in the process. The exact adjustment to each situation is carried out remotely through CX or CL control. All functions are controlled by the driver.
In order to reach optimal working methods, it is recommended that you work with our LOGIC systems. The AUTOLOGIC spreading system leads the driver along the route, while the spreading settings are set automatically. The driver can concentrate completely on traffic. In combination with the THERMOLOGIC system, the dose settings are based on the measured temperature of the road. In the end, with the WINTERLOGIC spreading data compilation system, you have all the necessary data about the spreading process in one place, so all you need for optimising your resources and spreading route plans is at your fingertips.

High quality materials

With the Stratos 10m³, 12m³ and 14m³ spreaders, a lot of value was placed on high quality materials. The containers and the frames are given their colour using a state-of-the-art powder coating process. This is a very durable method of conserving materials compared with other methods. The spreading disc and the whole pouring chute are made of stainless steel.

The modular design system of Stratos spreaders allows for configurations which can be individually adjusted to suit different operational tasks.
