The year 2025 began with a remarkable event for the Municipality of Arauco and the Regional Government of Bio-Bio, with the delivery and commissioning by Telemet of two (2) BeachTech model 5500 Beach Cleaners, the most versatile and productive self-propelled beach cleaner on the global market.
The self-propelled BT5500 beach cleaner stands out for:

- Large collection hopper: The extra-large hopper has a load volume of 1.5 m³, meaning less frequent unloading and consequent time savings.

Sand cleaners pick up the sand, sift it, and thus remove the smallest dirt particles, such as cigarette butts, broken glass, bottle caps, stones, and metal pieces, as well as plant growth. What remains is a clean and safe sand surface. Aerating the sand during cleaning also reduces bacterial density. When using Kässbohrer/BeachTech technology, sand is not removed.
